Terms of Permission for Reuse
Playback Media Ltd., our employees and partners work hard to make the highest quality media and we are always willing to allow republishing of our copyright work. If you use our content without permission, you pay for it!
Our terms of reproduction, distribution, adaptation and display are as follows:
Reproduction and Distribution
Reproduction and distribution of Playback Media Ltd’s copyright is strictly prohibited without written permission of the company and a violation of the exclusive rights of Playback Media Ltd.
By reproducing and distributing Playback Media Ltd’s copyright without permission the violator will be subject to a charge of no less than £20.00 per violation, plus statutory damages.
Unless otherwise permitted the violating party will remove the reproduced content and distribution with immediate effect, along with all references to the content, artists and brand names. Removal of the violating content does not discount copyright infringement liabilities prior to the removal notice.
Continued distribution after a removal notice has been sent to the violating party will be charged at £1.00 per day file until such a time that the violation is removed. Removal of the violating content does not discount copyright infringement liabilities incurred prior to removal.
(An example of a reproduction of distribution violation would be copying of an original podcast file and distributing on your own server, without permission or payment).
Adaptation
Short form adaptation of Playback Media Ltd’s copyright is permitted without written permission of Playback Media Ltd. providing a credit to the source and a link back to the source material is included in the adapted material.
Adaptation of Playback Media Ltd’s copyright without a credit and a link back to the source material will be subject to a charge of no less than £100.00 per violation.
If the violating party does not include a credit and link back to the source after a request from Playback Media Ltd, the violating party will remove the adapted content with immediate effect. Removal of the violating content does not discount copyright infringement liabilities incurred prior to the removal notice.
Continued distribution after a removal notice has been sent to violating party will be charged at £5.00 per day file until such a time that the violating material is removed. Removal of the violating material does not discount copyright infringement liabilities prior to removal.
(An example of an adaptation violation would be quoting from the original podcast recording for a web site or newspaper article without including a link to the original podcast and a link back to the podcast web site).

These are our terms. Strict but fair. We’re a friendly company and never turn down a reasonable request when contacted. If you have a blog, fan forum or otherwise, we’d love you to link to us and share our work. However, if your intent is to use our content without permission or payment and plaster ads around it without sharing, or pass it off as your own, that’s copyright infringement, unlawful and comes with a cost.
